The Yunnan Environmental Development Programme (YEDP) is a grant programme funded by the Department for International Development (DFID) of the British Government with the aim of promoting environmentally sustainable development and poverty alleviation in Yunnan province.

The total investment of this programme is 6.67million UK pounds. The programme lasts for 4 years between March 2001 and June 2005. It will be implemented through the cooperation between different departments of the Yunnan Provincial Government (YPG) including the Yunnan Environmental Protection Bureau (YEPB), the Yunnan Poverty Alleviation Office (YPAO) and the Yunnan Development Reform Commission (YDRC).
